Welcome to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Parish Religious Education Program!
We joyfully offer catechism classes, to teach baptized, registered children, full participation in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Instruction follows our Parish Mission Statement, to Know Jesus, to Love Jesus and to Serve Jesus!
Program Catechists are parish volunteers, who have provided the required Clearances and who are willing to pursue the Catechist Certificate, a series of acquired course credits.
Current Levels include: First through Sixth, with a full school year of study. Typically, after completing Levels One and Two, children are ready to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Level Seven is offered to students completing at least six years of Religious Education, in order to prepare them for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation. These Levels loosely follow your child's grade level.

Before registering please open and review our 2024-2025 Welcome Letter located on the left side bar. Catholic Youth Faith Formation 2024-2025 is currently accepting enrollment for our 2023-2024 academic year of faith formation.
